Emily Ismael is held in the highest regard and is known for being kind, knowledgeable, and respectful. Emily is always willing to support new teachers in learning the “tricks of the trade” and implementing best practices for teaching students with special needs. Emily’s classroom has a warm, inviting feeling tone, and her students are consistently engaged in fun activities that teach pre-academics, social skills, and “learning to learn” skills. Emily has a positive attitude, and she is always willing to lend a helping hand--whether with a colleague or by serving on a school site committee. She is a calming voice of reason in stressful situations, and she has embraced the role of a teacher leader through serving as an administrative designee and a member of the Rainbow Springs Guiding Coalition. Thank you, Emily, for all you do for our students, families, and school community!
